We organize hands-on workshops on engine assembly, metrology and performance. The workshops are intended for engine builders and race teams who want to get better understanding of the various individual details which need to be adressed and harmonized to achieve an overall balanced performance.
The “Stage 1” workshop is all about engine assembly and metrology. Without earlier experience, you will probably not yet be able to build a race engine from scratch, but you should be able to start servicing your engine yourself step by step with the skills and confidence it takes. Following topics are covered:
- cylinder head tolerancing + assembly
- engine block tolerancing + assembly
- camshaft timing setup
- valve to piston clearance
The “Stage 2” workshop covers various aspects of engine performance:
- port flow analysis :: introduction + demo
- combustion chamber design :: introduction
- engine block lubrification & breathing :: introduction
- camshaft timing setup :: masterclass
